1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Spark ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

2. Description of Service

Spark is an AI-powered life and relationship coaching app. The App provides general guidance and informational content generated by artificial intelligence. Spark is not a licensed therapy, counseling, or mental health service.

3. Not a Substitute for Professional Help

The content provided by Spark, including responses from the AI coach "Nova," is for informational and entertainment purposes only. It is not a substitute for:

• Licensed professional therapy or counseling
• Mental health treatment
• Medical advice
• Legal advice

If you are experiencing a mental health crisis, please contact a licensed professional or call a crisis helpline immediately.

4. Subscription & Billing

Spark offers a 7-day free trial followed by a paid subscription of $9.99/month or $79.99/year. Your subscription will automatically renew unless cancelled before the renewal date. You may cancel at any time through the app's Manage Subscription feature.

5. Refund Policy

Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis. Contact us at help@aispark-life.com within 7 days of a charge if you believe you were billed in error.

6. User Conduct

You agree not to use the App to:

• Violate any applicable laws or regulations
• Harass, abuse, or harm others
• Attempt to reverse engineer or copy the App
• Share your account with others

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Spark and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App. Spark is not responsible for any decisions you make based on content provided by the App.

8. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time for violation of these terms.

9. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms at any time. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

Privacy Policy

1. Information We Collect

We collect the following information when you use Spark:

• Email address and password (for account creation)
• Coaching mode and preferences
• Daily check-in entries and mood data
• Chat conversations with Nova
• Payment information (processed securely by Stripe — we never store card details)

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:

• Provide and personalize the coaching experience
• Process payments and manage subscriptions
• Improve the App and AI coaching quality
• Send important account notifications

3. Data Storage

Your data is stored securely using Supabase. Chat conversations and check-ins are stored to provide continuity in your coaching experience. You may request deletion of your data at any time by contacting us.

4. Third-Party Services

Spark uses the following third-party services:

• Anthropic — AI responses are processed by Anthropic's Claude API. Your conversations may be used by Anthropic per their privacy policy.
• Stripe — Payment processing. Card data is never stored by Spark.
• Supabase — Database and authentication services.
• Railway — App hosting and infrastructure.

5. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal data to third parties. We only share data with the service providers listed above as necessary to operate the App.

6. Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you
• Request correction of inaccurate data
• Request deletion of your account and data
• Cancel your subscription at any time

7. Cookies

Spark uses minimal cookies and local storage for authentication and app preferences only. We do not use tracking or advertising cookies.

8. Children's Privacy

Spark is not intended for users under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect data from minors.
